Uncategorized Signet Real Estate Group Announces Restructuring of Senior Leadership

Kevin Belt has been elevated to Managing Director & Senior Vice President, with direct management responsibility over Signet Real Estate’s Akron operation. Belt has been with the company for eight years and has more than 17 years of experience in commercial real estate development, leading high-profile development projects such as Marshall University’s Stephen J. Kopp Hall School of Pharmacy, Fairfield Landing, Marshall’s graduate housing community, Metrohealth Brecksville Health & Surgery Center, and NEOMED University’s Education & Wellness Center.

Spencer Hyatt has likewise been elevated to Managing Director & Senior Vice President, with direct management responsibility over the company’s Jacksonville operation. Hyatt has been with the company for six years and has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate development, leading the development of University of Florida’s Infinity Hall, Deacon Place, the off-campus housing project at Wake Forrest University, the University of Kentucky’s Cornerstone innovation project, and the new Lake Nona Performance Club wellness center project in Orlando, Florida.

Former Development Manager Aaron Brooker has also been promoted, to Development Director. Since joining the company in 2018, Brooker helped deliver the campus projects with Marshall University and is currently managing the development of Signet’s new Axis at Ansel housing community project on the east side of Cleveland.

To fill out the Real Estate Group’s leadership team, Signet has hired Jason Schoch as Controller. Prior to joining Signet, Schoch spent 14 years serving in accounting and finance roles for a national real estate developer based in Cleveland, OH.

Former President Jason Perry recently left the company to pursue his own endeavors.

In addition to the Real Estate Group staffing announcements, Signet LLC has hired Holly Colson as their new Director of Human Resources. Colson will act in the role as HR head for the Signet Real Estate Group from Signet LLC’s corporate offices in Akron.
