Executive Summary

The Village at NEOMED served as the first phase of an expansive campus development plan beginning in 2013. This on-campus residential housing included the construction of three, four- story buildings, which are located on the northwest corner of the NEOMED campus. This 270,421 square foot luxury residential housing village includes private parking and walkways for easy access to existing campus facilities. The Village consists of 185 units that house over 340 residents. Signet provided the development structure and arranged all project financing, design, development and construction for the new facility.

Project Details

Each apartment style one and two-bedroom unit is fully furnished and includes kitchen appliances and an in-unit washer and dryer. The units provide each resident with a private living area and private study area, bathroom and walk-in closet. Building amenities include group study areas on each floor, a large recreation area, and a game room in the main building. NEOMED is a community-based public medical university that offers doctor of medicine (M.D.) and doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degrees, in addition to graduate level coursework and research opportunities leading to master’s and doctoral degrees in several specialty medical areas. Signet also provides full-service property management and handles all leasing activities on behalf of NEOMED.
