The California Protons Cancer Therapy Center is one of the largest, most technologically advanced cancer centers in the world. This center also marked the initial proton project for Varian Medical Systems, the worldwide leader in radiation oncology equipment. The California Protons Cancer Therapy Center project required tremendous collaboration between the Signet-led project team and Varian by designing and constructing a center that supported the massive proton equipment system. This center features a 250 MeV cyclotron, beam transport system and five treatment rooms including three rotational gantries and two fixed-beam applications offering the latest in pencil beam scanning.
Signet played an expansive and diverse role in the development of the project and handled all development activities and construction management. Signet also provided financial structuring and sourcing for development and operational capital for the center.
This 102,500-square foot center of excellence started treating patients in February 2014.

Canal Park Stadium
When the Akron/Canton area was faced with losing its Cleveland Indians AA affiliate to Boston due to poor facilities, Signet constructed a plan to keep the team in the area. Canal Park Stadium brought much needed revitalization to a previously blighted area of Downtown Akron.
